Weymouth's own Pulitzer Prize Fighter are gearing up for a big Beantown area show coming up this Monday 9/14 at the Mid East Upstairs with Petal and Captain We're SInking. The guys have been highly active within the past year, performing at the likes of Copperfield's and Cuisine En Locale to raucous crowds and a highly styilized musical sensibility that has captivated audiences locally, and has expanded their sound to those who may not be too familiar with them. I've been well versed in their sound for a few years now, going back to their show with The Okay Win and A Great Big Pile of Leaves back in 2012, and what really drew me to them was at how diverse their sound was. They don't fall within a specific genre, and that's what makes them so creative and cutting edge plus their ability to add groove inflicted sounds into their music like R&B that make these guys a must see live act.
