Boston Based Somerset Has Landed With Their Debut Single "Phoenix"
Boston based rock outfit Somerset has released their debut single just yesterday titled "Phoenix". The song is a hard rocking, frenetic experience with a bevy of intricate keyboard melodies coupled with piercing guitar licks that provide for an indelible mixture along with a slight groove that you can't help but to fall under the spell of. Fronting the band is Nick Aikens, whom you may remember as the frontman for Jack Romanov and with this new band, he has recruited a slew of his friends including David Apostolides, Bobby Borenstein, Jake Damphousse, Connor Milligan, and Sean Silva to round out the new outfit. I was impressed with Nick's talents from JRV with his weathered vocals adding a great deal of sophistication to this intriguing new act that definitely has alot more up their sleeves, and is only hinting of what's to come. An explosively talented new local act that will be making plenty of waves for some time to come.
To check out "Phoenix" for yourself, it's available on all major streaming platforms and for more on Somerset, please give them a 'Like' on Facebook from this locale here, see their pics on Instagram at this spot here, and check out their official website located over here for more in depth surrounding them, including shows possibly coming to the area sometime soon as well.
