Boston based singer-songwriter Kalah Karloff has released her debut EP just last week titled "Outcry". The song has an even mixture of pop/rock and electro-pop to balance the sound out, and transmit it equally throughout the album. I absolutely adored her sound right from the start, and has a bombastic, melodic explosion embedded deep within that is waiting and begging to be released into the musical atmosphere. Coupled with the fact that she's a Northeastern Husky makes her all the more worthwhile to discover and musically unpack. Her sound is bold, refreshing and is markedly different from what's currently out there right now. I really found her to be readily and easily accessible from a musical perspective, and she definitely has the makings of a terrific musician who will be an omnipresent force in the local scene for years to come. A marvelous talent that you'll definitely be impressed by right from the first note.
