Boston based folkie Jake Swamp and the Pine is gearing up for a big album release show taking place on 6/2 at Brighton Music Hall. The show is a big deal for him, as he'll be headlining the show with Julie Rhodes and Grace Givertz joining him alongside. I've been in love with his music for some time, and he has both graced our presence here on the site and on the podcast where his friendly presence and demeanor permeates all throughout. His latest album "Simpson and Banks" came out back in December, but he wanted to hold the show until now to make it a real treat for people to come out of the woodwork and experience a real local, live show. His music evokes the sounds of Mumford & Sons and Fleet Foxes with a booming voice that will make you want to scooch close to those you care about, and experience the magic, beauty, and essence of his voice live in person. You'll definitely be a believer by the end of the evening after all is said and done.
