From across the pond in Leeds, UK comes the dynamic music stylings of Wolforna, who have released their latest single to the masses just a couple of weeks ago titled "Reset". The song is an abrasive, gritty tune that shows a louder side of the band that we've seen bits and pieces of over the years. Their last few offerings have been mostly in the folk realm, but this new track returns the group to a more realistic musical terrain that the lovely lads are more intimately familiar with. Lead singer Jack Crabtree's vocals tower over the song with a menacing grimace, while the drumwork of the charming Theo Fieldhouse adds a superb touch that makes the song razzle and resonate. Guitarist Adam Whittaker and bassist Alex Waite have a strong musical rapport with one another that is quite apparent in this tune, and they make sure that they're in constant communication with one another during song. Nothing about this group surprises me anymore, and I know firsthand what they're capable of after interviewing them multiple times over for my podcast and featured them on the site, they are the real deal and are a band that you'll welcome in with open arms. A terrific track that melds in well with the cold of winter on its way.
