Boston natives Aloud will be taking part in the Black Box Sounds series, presented by an initative from Emerson College's arts department. The showcase will take part at the Paramount Center, just steps away from Emerson and sees the band exposing their sound to a wider audience, and also bringing back local music to the area that hasn't had an outlet specifically designed for local bands. Joining them on the bill will be Bent Shapes and Tommy Palmer from Babydriver, so if you have some free time next week, definitely make it your mission to see Aloud in attendance as they put on an eclectic perfomance that shows the musical connections established between the husband and wife team, and the other musicians gathered on the bill as well.
The show will take place at the Paramount Center, located on 559 Washington St., right in the heart of Boston's famed Theater district. Tickets are $12 and doors open at 9pm. For more info and to purchase tickets, head on over to ArtsEmerson's website right over here for all the details.
