From the lovely confines of Ipswich, United Kingdom comes the terrific sounds of Basement, who will be making their way to the Boston area in due time on 8/16 when they hit up Royale right near the theater district. These guys have been on my musical radar for quite some time now, and they have an incredibly dynamic sound with traces of their heroes Brand New embedded on top of the surface to make themselves known to a captive and frenetic audience. As you may have gathered from the site over the last couple of years, I'm a huge British pop-punk nerd, and the fact that these guys are performing right in my neck of the woods really brings everything full circle and exposes the sounds emanating so strongly from across the pond to the general public. These handsome and incredibly talented lads are on the cusp of achieving something very special with their music, and it'd be definitely worth your while if you checked them out in person.
