Taste of Iceland Festival Set To Hit Up Mid East Downstairs This Sat. 3/5 w/ Reykjavik Calling

The Taste of Iceland festival will be returning to the Boston area this weekend @ The Mid East Downstairs on Sat. 3/5 with Reykjavik Calling that brings the cuisine, sounds, and culture of Iceland direct to the Boston area along with a bevy of Icelandic musicians performing alongside some of Boston's best and brightest that is a reflection of the musical diversity and cultural pride that will be on full display that evening.

Some featured artists that will be performing include Axel Flovent and Ceasetone, along with Boston's own Adam Ezra Group and Nemes that brings the best of both worlds directly to the stage. I've had the opportunity and privilege of attending this festival in the past, this will be my 3rd time attending and I feel it's a great representation of the cultural traditions and uniqueness that brings together American and Icelandic cultures in a cross breeding of sorts that allows everyone to get an appreciation of what makes each culture so unique, including most importantly our music. If you're curious about Icelandic culture and what makes it so special, grab an Icelandic vodka drink and check out some amazing music along with some of your local favorites that will be guaranteed to increase your love and appreciation for everything that comes out of that little and lovable volcanic rock. Here are all the show details:
