Boston Indie Rockers Barricades Drop New Single "Please" Off Upcoming LP Out 7/1

Boston indie rockers Barricades premiered their brand new single yesterday via Like You Said titled "Please". The cut is from their brand new LP titled When It Hits You that is scheduled for a 7/1 release. The tune is a vivacious, upbeat slice of heaven with a bevy of instrumentation and groove laden hooks that will have you moving at a furious pace to keep up with the insanely catchy hooks that will catch you off guard at every turn. Frontman Jared Walsh displays a fierce veracity on vocals, while drummer Dan Norton adds a great deal on percussion to amp up the surrounding musical wall that is brought forth by their other bandmates Chris Norton, Justin Lutz, and Matt Divito. These guys were first featured here on the site back in 2011 as an Artist Spotlight feature, and I immediately gravitated towards their independent vibe and musical chemistry that was beyond magical and unlike anything that I've quite experienced before. I've seen them in concert a couple of times after that, and met Dan after one of those shows where we shared a lot of common musical interests and knowing the same people within the music circle. An amazing act that more than deserves a little boost up the musical pedestal.

Head on over to Like You Said's website over here to stream "Please" in its entirety, and for more on Barricades please 'Like' them on Facebook over here and check out their official homepage at this spot here for more in depth info regarding the guys.
