Boston's own Western Education are teaming up with Colbis The Creature and a host of other bands for a show at Mid East Upstairs on 7/1 that will provide for a frolicking musical romp that is guaranteed to boost your energy as the summer gets into full gear. Other bands that will be joining them on this odyssey will be Totem, Charles Delta, and Mokita. Western Ed have been featured numerous times on the site before, and are definitely considered to be in the elite of local bands in the area who have made an impact on listeners, and have boosted their own star potential as well. These guys have a clear musical chemistry and bond that manifests itself on stage, and is also evident in the studio as well where their work ethic is really apparent and takes on a whole new meaning when these guys put their heads together to create these indelible compositions. I've seen firsthand these guys grow and become more confident in their musical skin, and are most certainly a force to be reckoned with in the months to come.
