Cambridge, MA based brother-sister duo Jocelyn & Chris Arndt have just released a holiday collection titled "Still". The songs have a decidedly blues oriented approach to them with colorful interludes between the two sparsed out in between to give a full featured approach that will appeal greatly to the listener. I didn't know much at all about these two coming in, but I really enjoyed their musical relationship that establishes itself well from the first note, and doesn't let up until the very end. Sibling duos have this innate way of communicating with each other that the average person can't really understand at all, but when it manifests itself on record, it all of a sudden makes perfect sense and you start to realize the unique chemistry and musical bond that they have together that really provides for a sense of togetherness as the holiday season gets into full swing. A terrific duo that is well worthy of checking out.
