Boston based party rock sensations Cougar Bait are set to get the floor moving when they grace us with their presence this coming Friday 5/12 @ Mid East Upstairs. The trio composed of Sean Sullivan, Jamie McCarthy, and CT Luscious is a must see attraction with their high energy electro rock beats pulsating through every square inch of your body that just implores you to head out onto the dance floor to experience this one of a kind act. I had the opportunity of checking them out live back in October at Hard Rock Cafe where they played a Halloween show, complete with the band dressed up as stormtroopers a la Star Wars, using lightsabers as drumsticks that completely blew my mind and just spoke volumes about the creative ingenue and sheer talent of the group that is present at every which way you turn. With elements of Foster The People thrown in for good mixture, the band is able to strike a balance between two music worlds, and provides ample opportunity for room of growth between the band and also attracts listeners of different genres as well. A phenomenal live act that most certainly will help you groove your way towards the weekend.
