Ayer, MA's Town Meeting Drop Majestic New EP "Geography Part 1"

Ayer, MA based folk rockers Town Meeting have dropped their beautiful and transcendent new EP titled Geography Part 1. These guys have been crafting achingly and painfully beautiful folk rock for some time now, and their new effort just speaks volumes about the depth of talent that each of the members have flowing and instilled throughout them. What makes this album so incredible is its ability to wheel the listener in directly on the first note, and make them feel like you're part of the family almost immediately after listening that will leave you wondering where these guys have been all your life. That's exactly how I felt when I first encountered these guys a couple of years ago at Thunder Road in Somerville a couple of years ago where they were opening for The Sheepdogs. I was awestruck and blown away by the sheer beauty and wondrous musicality that was transposing itself on stage, and really made me a fan right then and there. This album won't lead you to do any convincing, as your mind will already be made up by album's end as to how special and truly unique these guys are. One of the best albums of the year and one of the great local treasures in the area that is best experienced live.
