From the City of Angels in Los Angeles, CA comes the dynamic alt rock sounds of Weathers, who will be gracing us with their presence in the Boston area this coming Friday, 6/7 at Cafe 939, just steps away from Berklee College of Music. If you're not familiar with the fellas, the group consists of Cameron Boyer on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Cameron Olsen on lead guitar and vocals, Cole Carson on drums and vocals, and Brennen Bates on bass, keys, and vocals. The group's sound is a high energy alt-pop blend, with a strong emphasis being put on crafting catchy hooks and a dazzling style that will make the audience fall in love with them immediately upon first contact. I first became acquainted with the guys when I saw them play with Saint Motel and Hippo Campus at Royale in Boston a couple of years ago, and I was magnetically attracted to their evident charm and musical charisma that was oozing off the stage, and they also have a way of crafting indelible earworms like "Happy Pills" and "Dirty Money" to name a few. A ridiculously talented group with swooning good looks to match.
