Hull, UK Based Indie Outfit The Hubbards Go A More Darker Road On New Single "Seven or Eleven&q

Hull, UK based indie quartet The Hubbards change their musical direction on their darker edged new track "Seven or Eleven". The song opens up with some downtempo rhythms prodding along at a snail's pace that allows the listener to really listen at depth to the musical tonality that has changed dramatically since their prior releases. If you're not familiar with the group, it consists of Reuben Driver, Alex Green, Ronan Burns, and Joe Orlowski. The guys were last featured on the site 2 years ago with their double sided single "Body Confident/Easy Go" that established the band's style and musical charisma that was evident right from the get go. This track further enhances the band's depth and credibility as musicians who won't stick to the script, and seek to evolve greatly as musicians who refuse to be pigeonholed into a style and are beginning to become musically self-aware and conscious of who they are and where they seek to go moving forward. A tremendous track that definitely deserves an in-depth listen.
