The 1st ever Alternative Press Music Awards were held last night at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, OH where the magazine is based, and what better place to have a bevy of performances from bands in the worlds of pop-punk and metal that equally satisified those in attendance and those who were outside just thrilled to be in the presence of such incredibly talented musicians.
The winners were determined by votes to AP's website, and they represent what the general music listening public is obsessed with at this very moment and what they're passionate about. Here are the winners:
