Allston, MA's own Today Junior have just wrapped up recording of their 2nd full length effort titled "Ride The Wave". Recorded down at Hanging Horse Studios in Norwood, the guys have built upon the sound that they established from their previous effort, 2013's "What's The Skinny?" and have added an array of indie influenced sounds coupled with the band's trademark persona that they exhibit whenever they go on stage. The guys have been very close friends of mine for some time now, and even though I haven't heard anything from the effort as of yet, the anticipation and frenzy is growing as I talk to you right now and I couldn't be more thrilled for the guys that the fruits of their labor are going to be realized.
The band are slated to perform with Straight to VHS and Dirt Naps at O'Brien's on February 10th. For more info on the show, head on over to O'Brien's website here and stay tuned here to the site for more details on the release of the album as the release date draws closer.
