Boston based power-pop enthusiasts Nonpareils are set to take party in a CD release party extravagnza happening this Saturday at Starlab Studios right in the heart of Somerville. The guys are performing in support of their just released new effort, "Album of World's Champions" which has some subtle punk influences mixed in with a slight pop aesthetic that makes the guys extremely easy going from a listener perspective, but still has those punk breakdowns to show off their influences. I was impressed with what I heard from these guys as I wasn't too familiar with them, and I really gravitated towards their easy going musicality that definitely has some wings that will carry them a long way in their career.
Also performing at the CD release will be Dan Webb and The Spiders plus Blinders. Starlab Studios is at 453 Somerville Ave. in Somerville with the show taking place at 8pm free of charge.
