Boston based indie rockers Weather are returning to the Boston area later on tonight when they take the stage with Covey and These Wild Plains for a big show over at Great Scott in Allston. This is destined to be a great local homegrown lineup with all three acts having roots in the Boston area, and it'll definitely bring in the masses for those who haven't see the acts in awhile, or are checking them out for the first time. Weather have been keeping exceptionally busy these last few months, performing alongside the likes of David Duchovny and performing on his just released debut album that has garnered some praise and turned some heads also. I've known frontman Pat McCusker for a few years now, going way back to when he performed with his other group Moss Points North, and he is one of the most friendly and down to earth souls I've encountered in my travels. His stage presence is all sorts of energetic and unique, and can usually be found shedding his shoes and performing barefoot that allows him to feel right at home and feel his organic musical sensibility coming to life. They are definitely a band that you stick around to watch, and the same can be said for the other acts performing later tonight.
