Brooklyn Based Manic Pixi Return With Their Brand New Single "Newly Ordered World"

Brooklyn based alt-punkers Manic Pixi make their triumphant return with their brand new single that they premiered via Idobi late last week. The track sees the band taking a more serious turn with a fervent dose of pop-punk injected that breathes life into the entire musical foundation around them, and allows each individual musician to bring their own individual talents into the foray for everyone to take notice of. The band have some similarities to Paramore, but with a much more streamlined approach that does it job and knows how to keep the audience's eyeballs squarely focused on them. It's been awhile since I last featured them on the site, and it's great to have them back again with frontwoman Kat Hamilton's captivating and seductive stage presence, Emmett Ceglia's fervent drum pounding and shirtless exploits, Marshall Biever's fantastic and swooning guitar riffs, and babyfaced Drew Bastian's exquisite bass licks that are worth fawning over at every turn. These guys know how to deliver a quality performance, and it will only be a matter of time before they're back in the Boston area again with a new album in tow.

To check out "Newly Ordered World" for yourself, it's available on their Soundcloud page here, and for more on Manic Pixi please 'Like' them on Facebook at this perch here and follow their exploits on Twitter directly located here.
