Brian Fallon of The Gaslight Anthem is gearing to make an appearance in Boston this weekend when he graces the stage @ Royale in Boston for a solo show with Ryan Bingham on Saturday 9/24. The show is in support of Brian's debut album Painkillers that was just released, and marks him breaking out on his own and bringing his trademark pipes to the masses. Brian has always carved out a little slice of heaven with his previous outlet The Gaslight Anthem, but with him breaking out on his own he has developed a knack and musical persona for performing live in front of a crowd who have been hooked onto him since Gaslight, and are more than willing to see a different side of him performing that they haven't been able to witness before. I've been a huge fan of his stuff with Gaslight, and am intensely curious to check him out live as he has this uncanny ability to magnetically draw people in with his charm and rugged voice that tells mountains of stories about his life up until this point. If you've been a huge fan of his previous work, it would be definitely worth your while to check him out live as he's known for being melodically explosive and highly charismatic while churning out his tunes.
