The local indie band formerly known as San Lorenzo is gearing up for a big Halloween show taking place on the hallowed day 10/31 over at Lizard Lounge in Cambridge. Now going by the name Noble Dust, the band have made a habit of crafting catchy indie folk rhythms much like their local counterparts The Novel Ideas are doing right now, but Noble Dust have this strong, syncopated bond that can't be adequately described. It's as if everyone knows what's coming down the road musically before they even actually realize that they're actually doing it. It's this perfect musical alignment that makes Noble Dust a real treat and pleasure to listen to as they have all the perfect musical ingredients at their disposal, ready to make the most of what they have. There's not much of a different sound than when they were under San Lorenzo, just a different perspective that seems to be setting this group on a new plateau never before thought possible. An immensely talented group that is only beginning to just discover their true musical selves.
