Local newcomers Take Us Alive are gearing to make a hell of a first impression when they take the stage at Hard Rock Cafe this Friday 11/10 in support of their debut EP release that evening. The band consists of Alex Nekrylau on lead vocals and guitar, Mike Mahalati on guitar, Chris Cucinotto on drums, and Carlos Soler Quiroga on bass. Of course you remember Chris from his prior work in The Truezoos, Bomb Pilot, and Spo to name a few, and lends his incendiary talents to this new and burgeoning project. The sound is an ample mix of hard rock rhythms transposed on top of a explosive, melodic framework that is beyond comprehension. Even if you're not a fan of hard rock, there is definitely much to be appreciated by the band's resolve and their ability to resonate strongly in the eyes of those gathered in front of them. There's definitely some excitement and a little bit of nervousness in the air for sure, but the show is most certainly going to open some big doors for the guys, who have already developed a deep chemistry for one another and are destined for bigger and greater things down the road.
