NYC based folkie J. Alan Schneider has returned with his brand new studio album titled "All Lit Up" that is out today. You may remember him from his time as part of the RI based Jet Black Sunrise. He has since stepped out on his own with this remarkable folk solo project that really showcases J's individual and unique talents that are omnipresent throughout. J has been featured on the site previously with his debut solo effort and through his time with Jet Black Sunrise as well, and I was impressed with his ability to add a different musical layer to his work that was unique and really added a glossy look that stood out prominently. Now that he has embarked on his solo journey, J has fully realized the depth and power of his talents that have reached far beyond what he was expecting, and it has showcased who he is a musician and his mellow personality that shines through brightly in his music and in his on stage persona as well. A remarkable talent that is most certainly worth listening to and discovering.
