Allston indie-psych rock outfit Today Junior are back with their all new single "If You Want To" delivered to your doorsteps today. The song is a quick, fast paced two minute jam that pulls out all the stops and shows the band's sound evolving into a more full fledged, power rock powerhouse capable of anything they see fit. Mike, Harry, and Hannah are a formidable force whenever they step foot on stage, and they have this dynamic that is entirely of their own creation and don't strive to emulate anyone else out there in the scene. All they can do is be themselves and that has served them well over the years. I've had the fortune and pleasure of knowing Mike and Harry for well over a decade now, after first discovering them by accident at Copperfield's in Boston where they blew my mind and was even more blown away by how kind and gracious they both were to me which is something I'll never forget. They have morphed into the band they always thought they'd be, and now with this song nothing can slow them down and there are no obstacles in their sight. A tremendous jam that is worthy of a spin or two this summer.
