Allston Natives Today Junior Gearing Up For 1/30 Mid East Upstairs Gig w/ Duunes & Fo Daniels

Allston indie surf/psych rock outfit Today Junior are prepping for a big local gig happening on Fri. 1/30 at Mid East Upstairs in Camrbidge, where they'll be joined by Duunes and Fo Daniels. The band are mainstays here on the site and need no introduction whatsoever as Mike, Harry and Hannah have been grinding all throughout the scene for well over a decade, dating back to when I first happened upon them at Copperfields near Fenway where I immediately feel in love with them, and have been conjoined at the hip ever since. Their sound is a musical concoction for the senses that needs to be heard in order to be believed, but it also has that melodic twist to keep you involved and entertained all the way throughout. Their live gigs are something to behold where you'll get a glimpse of Mike's fast and furious drum patterns, Harry's gritty vocals and his beautiful, breathtaking red hair blinding him while on stage, and Hannah's throbbing and piercing basslines that tie everything up with a nice pretty bow. It'd definitely be worth your while to brave the cold and check out some local music and fall in love with your next great musical obsession.
