Allston's Own Today Junior Gearing Up For Lilypad Show Next Fri. 4/10 w/ Robo Pumpkin & Jam Poetry

Allston indie psych rock mainstays Today Junior are gearing up for a big show happening at The Lilypad in Inman Square, Cambridge next Fri. 4/10 alongside the talents of Robo Pumpkin & Jam Poetry. The guys are insanely talented beyond belief, and continue to enthrall and amaze with the collective talents of brothers Harry and Mike O'Toole, alongside their brand new bassist Jonathan Hislop ready to take notice on stage. I've been best friends and brothers with the guys for years going back to when I first saw them at Copperfield's in Fenway way back when. I knew firsthand that the guys were something special with their unique musical concoction of punk and indie rhythms that are unlike anything else currently out there today. With Harry's beautiful flock of red hair and Mike's vivacious and pulsating drum patterns, the band has all the ingredients you'd come to expect from a complete indie outfit. And there'll also be some other bands there that you might find your own comfort level with as well.
