Boston Based An Triangles Gearing Up For Lilypad Show This Sun. 8/25 w/ Annelise Eppen, Statue, & Julia Dasey

Boston based indie-rock singer-songwriter An Triangles is preppping for a local show happening this Sun. 8/25 at 7pm over at The Llypad in Inman Square in Cambridge alongside Annelise Eppen, Statue, and Julia Dasey. The show is billed as "The Reintegration Into Society Show", and is a welcome return for the act that is the brainchild of Doug Poppe. He's fresh off after taking a sabbatical and silent retreat, and also played a few shows around the West Coast also. Doug's style evokes the essence and vibe of Elliott Smith and Silver Jews with a modern mindset that is serene and potently beautiful the moment you hear Doug's voice. I had the opportunity and privilege of having him on my podcast a couple of years back and I found him to be a particularly intriguing individual as he has a wonderful perspective on life that makes you want to spend hours over coffee sharing your viewpoints on music and life in general. Through his music you can hear it taking different twists and turns, sometimes with electronic arrangements intersparsed throughout and from there, you begin to see the full picture and what Doug is truly musically capable of. A tremendous artist that you need to be listening to more regularly.

For more info on Sunday's show, head on over to the Facebook Event listing here and while you're there, give An Triangles a 'Like' on FB right here, see his pics and vids on Instagram at this spot here, and check out his singles "Ridicule" and "Mother on You" now up on all major streaming providers.
