Up and coming Boston indie fresh faces Barefoot Young are gearing up for a big local show happening on Fri. April 4th when they grace the stage at Rockwood Music Hall in Boston. The guys may not be familiar names on your radar, but you will welcome them in like family the minute you first hear their music. Their new EP is titled “Falling Fast”, which is an appropriate title since that will indicate how fast you’ll fall in love with their music upon first listen. It’s fresh, youthful, inviting, and bombastic rhythms will dictate where the music will travel, and how the listeners will respond as a result of it. I had a good feeling from these guys right from the start, and I wasn’t disappointed one bit. The group consists of Derek Bolivar, Jon Everett, Ian Howard, and Ben Taylor. Their sound is equal parts ethereal and dreamlike, with a fresh faced youthful optimism for the future ahead which definitely looks promising for them in my book. An explosive act that you need to check out right this minute.
