Boston's An Triangles Makes Glorious Return on New Single w/ Annelise Eppen "Promise"

Boston based singer-songwriter An Triangles is back with his brand new single, a collaboration with Annelise Eppen called "Promise". The song starts off with Annelise's beautiful and serene vocals setting the stage for the instrumentation and the rest of the song to follow. An Triangles is the brainchild of Doug Poppe, who adds guitar and backing vocals to a wonderful and lush soundscape that is abound at every turn. I've had the opportunity and privilege of featuring him on my site many times before and also interviewed him for my podcast a few years back. I find him to be a particularly intriguing and laid-back fellow who has a lovely way of putting the song in perspective for the listener. He has distinct elements as diverse from Elliott Smith to SIlver Jews with a low-key presence that really draws in you right from the first note. I find his music to be very comforting and unique in a way that it's unlike anything else you've ever heard before, it almost has an atmospheric type of quality that makes it feel like you're out there in the wilderness experiencing his music the way it was meant to be enjoyed. A terrific and intricate track that is well worhty of diving into.
