Connecticut based alternative singer-songwriter James MacPherson is back with his brand new solo single out to the world the day after Christmas with "Instant Feedback", the first single off his forthcoming solo LP. You may remember James from his work with Bonsai Trees and also as the bassist years ago for Manic Pixi where I first discovered him. On his new solo venture, James's delicate and beautiful voice runs rampant in the musical breeze and takes ahold of you almost instantaneously and never lets go of its musical grip. His sweet, angelic persona comes through strongly when you first meet him, and he has a lovely way of putting a song in perspective for the listener. When I first discovered him over a decade ago with Manic Pixi, he had an indelible stage presence playing bass where he was camouflaging himself on stage, and became an omnipresent musical force of his own. Stepping onto the solo front, James has a musical genre that is entirely of its own creation, and can't be comparably compared to anyone else out there. It's having that musical fortitiude and confidence within yourself that sets yourself apart immensely from all the other musical acts out there. An stunning and breathtaking talent that is starting the New Year off with a bang.
