The song returns Troy to more terrestrial and melodic grounds, with an outstanding hook and catchy melody that will resonate with you strongly long after the song has ended. Of course Troy is no stranger to the site after first being featured here dating back to 2012 when he was a student at Berklee College of Music. I feel that I've grown up along with him too as his song has evolved leaps and bounds from when he first started, and after hanging out at The Record Company studios in Boston where I was a first hand witness to seeing his craft being put into motion. I fell head over heels with this song the instant I heard it, and it shows off Troy's versatility as an artist and his ability to wear multiple hats that will make him a more relatable and longer lasting musician as a result. Troy seems much more comfortable with himself than ever before, and it's great to see him flourish in a more grounded setting where he can do anything he wants with his music as he sees fit. An outstanding track from an artist who is already making a huge name for himself in the country world.
