Originally from Huddersfield, UK but now residing in Brooklyn comes the singer-songwriter magic of Covey, who is getting ready for a big local show happening this weekend, Sun. 5/4 to be exact at Deep Cuts in Medford alongside M.A.G.S. Covey is a tremendously talented and gifted singer-songwriter, whose introspective lyrics and heartwarming melodies make him a beautiful soul who knows how to connect directly with listeners through his very innate way of crafting notes and lyrics together. I featured Covey way back in the early days of MusicBoxPete, and even back then I knew that he was bound for greater heights and musical pleasures not seen before. His music touches upon the aspect of mental health which is something that has permeated much of modern society today, and is something that I've personally struggled with more recently with my anxiety that I've sought help for and am in a much better spot right now. It's having that musical effect on people that will make Covey's music have that much emotional resonance with people and keep him near, dear, and close to their hearts. A tremendous talent that you'll want to experience live.
