Based out of my hometown of Medford, MA comes the rising hip-hop sounds of KSAP, who released his latest single just a couple of months ago titled "30 Floors Up". The song is a colorful, futuristic collage of a musician coming into his own with a full self-realization of who he is a person, while still juggling the responsbilites of being a high school student and having that hunger to be a full fledged hip-hop star. I was floored when I first heard him, and he has the charisma, good looks, and musical chops to make a big dent in the local scene along with the creative ingenue to get his music across. He shot the music video for his song "Sea Sick" from a camera mounted in the back seat of a Tesla on a shoestring budget without all the bells and whistles that makes it look sleek and awesome. On top of that, he was nominated for a Boston Music Award last year for his video for "100 Miles", and just got accepted into the Berklee College of Music. All these accolades and achievements bolstered his status as a rising star to watch within the local hip-hop scene. An immensely talented and creative young man who is only going to get bigger as time progresses.
You can listen to "30 Floors Up" on all major streaming services and for more info on KSAP, give him a 'Like' on Facebook from this junction here, see his pics and a day in the life from his Instagram feed located over here, and check out his YouTube channel right here for all his music videos and some more behind the scenes content.
