From New Bedford comes the friendly faces known as Autumn Drive, whom have released their brand new EP to earlobes everywhere today called "Going Undone". This is the third effort from the band, and shows a more sophisticated and streamlined sound while also introducing some newbies to their sound who may not be too familiar with the guys yet. The band consists of Charlie Gamache on lead vocals, Aiden Parker on guitar, Joe Gauvin on drums, and Patrick Igoe on bass. I first encountered the guys back in May when I happened to catch their set at Deep Cuts in Medford. I was impressed and blown away by their poise but most importantly their sheer talent and on stage presence which was nothing short of sublime. The guys know how to get the audience involved and seek out to develop an open realtionship with their audience and always keep them coming back for more. Their sound has an indie pop dynamic that has a bevy of dreamscapes and hypnotic melodies that you'll never be able to back away from. A sneaky good album that could factor in some year-end playlists.
