Newburyport, MA Surf Rockers Dune Dogs Back At It With Brand New Single "She Don't Mind"

From the North Shore in Newburyport, MA comes the surf infused sounds of Dune Dogs, who are back to kick off the year with their brand new single out just last week titled "She Don't Mind". The song has a heavy 311 styled influence with serene melodies and a more toned down aesthetic from their prior releases that shows a different side of the band that we haven't had the opportunity to experience before. I've been huge admirers of the fellas for some time now, dating back to when I first interviewed the dudes for my podcast back in 2022 and the countless features I've done on them since. Seeing them in concert for the first time last summer at the Cantab Lounge in Cambridge was special as it showed me a band that are fully in touch of who they are as a band and where they want to be in their musical careers. Lead singer Nick Bernarducci has a swooning and charismatic presence to him that makes the music that much more appealing to the concertgoer. Nick Brescio on lead guitar, Matt Chestnutt on bass, and James Abrams on drums round out a stellar outfit that makes any live event or beach setting that much more enjoyable with the ones you care about. An outstanding tune that will grow on you and one that you will fall in love with very quickly.
