From the North Shore in Newburyport, MA comes the majestic and beautiful sounds of Dune Dogs, who have released their brand new single to listeners' ears today called "Higher Ground". The song is indicative of the band's personalities as laid back surfers who truly enjoy music, surfing, and all things associated that come with it along the way. The band consists of Nick Bernarducci on lead vocals, Nick Brescio on guitar, Beau Colvin on bass, and Ben Buckey on drums. I interviewed the guys for my podcast back in March, and immediately fell head over heels for their laid back and charming charisma that reveals that they're just regular people looking to make a difference through their unique blend of surf rock. Nick's vocals are hypnotic and swooning, and really make you feel the full power of their sound. Coupled with Nick Brescio's guitar, Beau's sleek and sexy bass lines, rounded out with Ben's free wheeling drum skills make this act one to take notice of right off the bat.
