Newmarket, NH Folkies Sneaky Miles Gearing Up For 2/26 Lizard Lounge Gig w/ Jon Nolan & Good Company

From the Granite State in Newmarket, NH comes the musical warmth of Sneaky Miles, who will be returning to the Boston area on Thur. Feb. 26 at Lizard Lounge in Cambridge, where they'll be joined by Jon Nolan & Good Company. The band have been like family to me here on the site ever since first meeting them at Summit Indie Fest back in 2021 and both interviewing and featuring them on the site multiple times over since then. The band's sound is an indie-folk blend reminiscent of The Head and The Heart with Kevin O'Brien's remarkable vocal presence and footstomp tambourine that has become the band's signature trademark. Jake Gagne's indelible keyboard presence which has continued to grow roots, and has allowed the band's music to evolve immensely and take different twists and turns along the way. Patrick Fitzgibbons is an essential accompaniment on guitar and vocals that when pieced together, has become a true tour de force in the local indie scene and defines all the characteristics of a hard-working, grassroots band who offer up something to the audience that is pure, unadulterated, and has a sense of purpose that is sorely lacking in today's music scene. An incredible act that is worthy of checking out to escape from the brutal cold.
