Newmarket, NH based indie-folk outfit Sneaky Miles are back with their serene and country-western tinged new single that came out yesterday titled "The Cowboy Returns". The song is a slight change of pace for the Granite Staters, but still maintains their dynamic edge that has made them such a big hit with their live performances locally throughout the region. Kevin, Jake, and Pat have made up the majority of the group since their formation, and they've added 2 more members since to expand to a five piece. I've been enthralled and obsessed with the group since first meeting them at The Book and Bar in Portsmouth, NH three years ago, and since that time they've become an integral part of my family and have been nothing short of amazing musicians and beautiful humans to talk to and connect with over our shared love of music. This song is one of the longest they've put out clocking in at 8 minutes and 19 seconds, but you'll promptly hitting the 'Play' button repeatedly to replay this sonic odyssey that evokes their ever changing musical direction and where they are at this stage of their professional careers. A refreshing and stunning track that you need to explore for yourself.
