From Framingham, MA comes the R&B/soul folk infused sounds of Dwayne Haggins, who is gearing up for a big show happening next Friday, 3/31 at Regent Theatre in Arlington. His sound is a magnificent hybrid of R&B/soul coupled with a folk twist that when you hear it for the first time, you'll be instantaneously hooked and spellbound by every note and lyric that comes out of his vicinity. I had the opportunity of interviewing him for my podcast a few months ago, and he is an incredibly charismatic and gifted presence who knows how to bring about the best in everyone that he comes in contact with. His backing band is talented in their own right, coupled with guitarist Ahren Shreeve who is an exceptional talent in his own right whom you may remember formerly of Juniper, who adds a certain soulful flare and works perfectly in tandem with Dwayne's mellow vocals which are capable of achieving anything that comes their way. This is gearing up to be a exquisite show, and it'd definitely be worth your while to check him out in person and see what all the buzz is about.
