Somerville Folkies Jake Swamp and The Pine Get Creative in Quarantine Vid For "Chapstick and Change"

Somerville based folk duo Jake Swamp and The Pine let their creative juices flow in their quarantine inspired video for their latest single "Chapstick and Change". The video is entirely crowdsourced, and integrates all of their fans and friends into an enthralling clip that showcases the duo's ingenuity and willingness to think outside of the box, and not do a traditional music video with a storyline along with all the bells and whistles. The duo consists of Stuart Babcock and Drew Zieff whom have been featured here on the site several times before. One thing that I always appreciated about the duo was their authenticity and simplicity when it came to telling their story through song. The guys really have a beautiful way about themselves, and you'll quite easily fall in love with them and everything that they have to offer you through their music which acts as a comforting companion through these trying times that we'll all have to navigate through together. An immensely gifted act that is definitely one of the gems of the Boston music scene.
