From the Lone Star state of Texas comes the deep rooted country sounds of Troy Cartwright, who has released another magnum opus out today called "Over You By Now". It's just another in a long string of singles that Troy has released that demonstrates his musical powers, and his ability to harness high quality songwriting within his expertly crafted melodies. Troy is a legend when it comes to being featured here on the site, having first featured him going back to 2012 when I was lucky and fortunate enough to sit in on a recording session he did at The Record Company, where he put together a 4 song collection of tunes that showed remarkable promise and someone who was well on his way of achieving something special. Since then, Troy has hit the ground relentlessly with multiple shows near and far, and he'll be stopping by The Red Room at Cafe 939 on February 3rd, just steps away from Berklee College of Music where he attended. Troy has been the one constant in my life and we've enjoyed deep conversations about music, life, football, and everything in our lives that matters the most. An exquisite track that needs to be heard by all right now.
