Closing up shop for the week and cruising into the weekend with an all new edition of Artist Spotlight, brought to us from the hometown of the Swingin A's, Oakland, CA and upon the soul/folk infused sounds of Tumbleweed Wanderers! The band consists of Jeremy Lyon on lead vocals, guitar, and harmonica, Rob Fidel on vocals, guitar, banjo, and harmonica, Patrick Glynn on keys and mandolin, Daniel Blum on drums and percussion, and Greg Fleischut on bass. The band's sound is a jaw dropping blend of folk rock rhythms with some slight R&B/soul influences that make for an interesting hybrid that hasn't been brought together before, but is an absolute thrill to hear combined and immediately puts everything in perspective right away. I was floored when I heard these guys, and couldn't believe the amazing sounds that were coming out of the speakers and really has a true to heart, authentic feel that you'll embrace right away and carry with you on your journeys with the people you care about. An amazing band that really cuts down to the heart of true human emotion at its finest. Some tracks for you to unearth include "Worn Down Welcome" and "Let It Go".
