Starting off my final Artist Spotlight feature here on the site with a glimpse of an Austin, TX based group by the name of Driver Friendly. The band consists of Tyler Welsh, Andy Lane, Jeremi Mattern, Juan Lopez, and Chris Walker. The collective's sound crosses that line of pop-punk in the vein of All Time Low and Mayday Parade with a blasting and dynamic musical resolve that is something to be treasured and admired I had the privilege of checking these guys out in concert a couple of weeks ago at The Middle East Downstairs, and they really left an indelible impression on me with their groove laden hooks and the band's dynamic musical presence that makes them insanely likable and one that is almost impossible to miss when seeing them in concert. A standout track from them is "Stand So Tall".
For more info on Driver Friendly, give them a 'Like' on Facebook right over here and become part of their exclusive and tight knit community. The band is on Twitter as well here so that you can stay in tune with the band directly and everything that is happening in their realm. Their official website is over here containing more in depth information concerning them, and check out their latest album titled "Unimagined Bridges" now available for download on iTunes right over here.
