Locally based rockers The Sun Lions have just made available their latest album, "Whatever's On Your Mind" on a 12" limited edition blue/white swirl vinyl exclusively for their fans. Recorded at Sonelab out in Easthampton, MA with Justin PIzzoferrato who has worked with such artists like Dinosaur Jr. and Speedy Ortiz, he lends his creative talents to an emerging local act that is starting to grow in stature and popularity with their hard nosed blend of rock turning some heads and gaining some new fans in the process as well. I was familiar with the guys by name only, and it's great that they're getting their music out in a vinyl format that will allow fellow audiophiles like myself to appreciate music even more by listening to all the pops and crackles that are omnipresent whenever you put a vinyl on the turntable.
