NYC based alt-rockers The Dough Rollers are getting ready to make a local appearance in the Boston area next Tuesday 9/7 when they grace the stage at Great Scott over in Allston. The band have a funky, vivacious sound that combines elements of garage and blues rock into a unique concoction that really shows off the collective diversity that the band have set forth and prepared just for you. The band made an appearance on Late Show With David Letterman back in March, and released their latest EP Gone Baby Gone on Jack White's Third Man Records that solidifies their status as a band that have gotten a seal of approval and are officially in the hunt of bands looking to make an impact in the years to come. I myself was very pleased with what I heard forth from these guys, and you should definitely pencil this concert date on your calendar as the songs will sound even more amazing performed live!
To take a listen to one of their songs "Mansion On A Hill", it's available for streaming on their Soundcloud site over at this spot here, and for more info on The Dough Rollers you can give them a 'Like' on Facebook here and check out their official homepage at this locale here.
