Boston based collective The Relevant Elephants have just premiered a brand new song today via Performer Magazine called "Rock N Roll Band" that you can listen to here. The band teased the announcement on their Twitter feed a few days ago, and already it has generated much enthusiasm and excitement among members of their ever growing legion of fans. The guys have been an almost near constant presence on the site over the last couple of years, going back to when I first saw them at the Downtown Crossing T stop while running to catch a train, and was immediately hooked not just on their sound, but on their catchy band name that has incited much curiosity. The band is led by the immensely talented and ridiculously handsome Zack Hankins, who is probably one of the most witty and clever musicians around who has a strong sense of self esteem and pride that runs clearly through his veins, and the rest of the band is pretty darn awesome too if you check out their recent self titled EP that came out last year. A terrific local band that is a great representative of how to continue to head out there and pound the pavement.
