Chicago based singer-songwriter Hadley Kennary is back with her brand new EP titled "Momentum" that is slated to be released on August 24th. The amazingly talented songstress spent some time here in the Boston area studying at Berklee College of Music, where she learned to hone her talents and express her innermost thoughts through the power of song and helped build her confidence in the process. She was first featured here on the site back in 2013 when I reviewed her LP "In Fall" and I commented on how she was definitely laying the groundwork for what is to come in the future, and had a very natural, pristine voice that wasn't forced by any means, and was simply letting it do its own thing and had listeners marvel over the sheer power of her voice. Her latest effort takes a more Americana approach with a more varied mix of sounds that amplifies her voice and presents a greater diversity and wealth of talent that is beginning to build her up and prepare her for what lays ahead. A truly amazing talent that is worth listening if you haven't checked her out yet.
