Quincy based punk trio Bundles are gearing for a big record release show two weeks from today on October 18th, when they play O'Brien's directly in the heart of Allston Rock City. The event is to celebrate the release of their split 12" with Dan Webb and The Spiders that will be released on Gunner Records. Bundles are no stranger to the site as they've been featured before, same goes for Dan Webb and The Spiders as they both have an infectious and dynamic energy that is so potent live that you'll be struggling to function for some time afterwards. Bundles are one of my favorite local acts around as they don't take themselves too seriously, and have a brilliant live set that captures their punk spirit and hark working aesthetic quite well. While I'm not a huge punk rock fan per se, I appreciate everything that they contribute as a band with regards to their work aesthetic and making sure that everything flows out on time while thy're up on stage. A tremendous live act that you should definitely be paying more attention to.
