Brooklyn's own dynamic power duo The Falling Birds have released their brand new single titled "Anything Worse" off their new EP "What Is There To Talk About" out February 17th. Before that, the band will be stopping by O'Brien's in Allston this Wednesday Jan. 11th to expose their sound to a anxious and waiting crowd. The sound is old school rock and roll with the spirit and ingenue of The Black Keys established firmly within their grasp that sets them apart from the pack, and puts them in the firm view of everyone near and far. They have their own identifiable sound that makes them instantly recognizable within a few seconds which is a key trait to have for any upstart act that makes them that much more potent and visible to the naked eye that gives them much more traction and notice in an ever changing musical climate like this. I liked these guys from the start, and they have that blues rock component that can't be matched and are definitely an act to keep a watchful eye on in the coming year.
